Skill Lab
Welcome to the State of art clinical skills lab situated on the 4th floor of the GIMSR Medical College. Complying with all the requirements, in accordance with the NMC guidelines, the skill lab offers opportunity to engage and excel in a very relaxed atmosphere.
The skill lab houses basic and advanced skill trainer mannequins. The focus is on developing technical and communication skills and team work. All the sessions are conducted by a team of dedicated trainers who are not only very experienced but also very passionate about continuously upgrading the facility so as to make it a centre of excellence.
In a stimulated environment, students will learn, practice and will be observed performing skills thus boosting their confidence and mitigating the risks involved in direct patient exposure without adequate preparation and supervision. These facilities will also support the maintenance and enhancement of the clinical skills of both undergraduate and postgraduate students and medical faculty.
