    B. Sc Paramedical Courses

    B.Sc. Anesthesia Technology

    Duration : 4 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    About the course : An anaesthesia technology professional assists in the administration and monitoring of anaesthesia technology and has extensive knowledge of anaesthesia techniques, instruments, supplies,and technology.
    Anaesthesia technology professionals are mainly employed by hospitals or operating theatre suites, but can be found in other areas of clinical practice including emergency departments, intensive care units(ICU) and day surgery clinics. Anaesthesia technology Professionals work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses and support staffs.

    B.Sc. Clinical Microbiology

    Duration : 3 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    About the course : This course deals with concerns of micro biological aspects in human and animal infection by pathogens such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa. Common topics of clinical microbiology include the nature of the etiologic agents, their interactions with the immune system, and the diagnosis and epidemiology of the infectious disease.The course includes human anatomy, physiology, pathology, parasitology, systematic bacteriology, medical mycology, medical virology, medical microbiology, clinical biochemistry, immunology, molecular biology.

    B.Optometry

    Duration : 4 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology & English.

    About the course : Optometry is a health care profession which deals with the examination, diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases and disorders of the visual system. It is a vision care science.

    One can also define it as the science of eye equipment (including lenses and spectacles) which is imbued with the idea of improving the vision of the human eye and remove all kinds of obstacles of sight which an individual may experience. This course provides a dynamic and challenging career, which allows one to help people, achieve personal growth, community respect, job flexibility and financial success and offers virtually unlimited opportunities.

    Duration : 4 Years

    About the course : B. Sc. in Radiology & Imaging Technology deals with the use of sophisticated technology in medical imaging and cancer treatment. It has various subspecialties such as Radiology, Radiotherapy & Nuclear medicine.
    Students of this program learn Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, General physics & electronics, Atomic & nuclear physics, Mathematics, Pathology, Community Medicine, Radiodiagnosis, Radiation Oncology and Radiation Physics.

    B.Sc. Renal Dialysis Technology

    Duration : 4 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    About the course : Dialysis is the artificial process of eliminating waste (diffusion) and unwanted water (ultrafiltration) from the blood. Our kidneys do this naturally. Some people, however, may have failed or damaged kidneys which cannot carry out the function properly - they may need dialysis. In recent years the technology and techniques in the dialysis process have evolved opening many new options for those who require frequent dialysis procedures. A dialysis professional can set up, evaluate, operate, and troubleshoot dialysis machines, and this knowledge can be used to find work in quality control or other areas in dialysis machine manufacturing. The professional is also trained to monitor the condition of the patient, including taking vital signs and other medical evaluation criteria.

    B.Sc. Emergency Medical Technology (EMT)

    Duration : 4 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    About the course : An Emergency Medical technology Professional assists in the identification and management of life threatening and critical surgical and medical problems.They assist in treating heart strokes, asthma attacks, poisoning, fractures, accident and pregnancy related emergencies
    Emergency Medical Technology Professionals work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team that includes doctors, nurses and support staff in the public and private hospitals, nursing homes.

    B.Sc. Medical Lab Technology (MLT)

    Duration : 4 Years

    Eligibility : Qualified in Intermediate or 10+2 equivalent examination with 60% Aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English.

    About the course : Medical Lab Technology is a complex area which deals with the diagnosis, treatment and prevention of diseases with the use of laboratory tests. It plays a crucial role in the modern health care system. Medical Laboratory technologists perform slide preparation from human tissues or other specimens, sample drawing , blood tests and typing. These professionals can find employment opportunities in various educational institutes, private and government hospitals.
    Students of this program learn Human Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Pathology, Community Medicine.
